African American Academic Network (AAAN)
The African American Academic Network (AAAN) promotes success and high impact engagement for students of African descent through comprehensive advising, developmental programming, student advocacy and structured learning experiences within an inclusive community.
Native American Support Program (NASP)
The Native American Support Program (NASP) provides opportunities to enhance Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islanders and Indigenous students’ growth and development, academic achievement, and leadership building.
The TRIO Upward Bound (UB) and Student Support Services (SSS) Programs seek to increase the rate of students who complete secondary school and enroll in and graduate from a postsecondary institution.
Office of Testing Service
The Office of Testing Services (OTS) serves UIC students and faculty as well as individuals residing in metropolitan Chicago with a variety of testing needs. The office provides a professional and secure environment for those who need their college, university or professional certification exam taken in a proctored setting. We have a host of exams that we currently administer which include the College Level Examination Program (CLEP Exam), Millers Analogies Test (MAT), and New York University (NYU) Foreign Language Exam. Our department is committed to the highest standard of academic integrity and follow the guidelines set by the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
